Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 5.x • Re: cloned website to test site (different domain), upgraded to php 8.2, but unable to upgrade to joomla 5.2 from 4.4.8

Have you updated the Temp and Log Path in configuration.php so it reflects what is present on the server after the move.

Temp
Before: /home/u1569959/public_html/tmp
Changed to: /home/u747555050_k3ddccopy/public_html/tmp
Error message: The folder at /home/u747555050_k3ddccopy/domains/kitcad3d.site/public_html[TMP] is not writable and cannot be used for the temp folder, using the default [ROOT][TMP] instead.
Automatically changed to: /home/u747555050/domains/domain/public_html/tmp

As a result, I was able to update to J4.4.9

I googled log path for further instructions but couldn't find any. Could you point me in the right direction please?

There is no J5 update prompt on home dashboard. So I uploaded J5.2.0 installation zip via system > install > extensions.
Result:
- JInstaller: :Install: Can't find Joomla XML setup file. The Joomla package cannot be installed through the Extension Manager. Please use the Joomla! Update component to update Joomla.
